The MIMO-3-V2-17 is a great addition to your cellular mobile router including our Pepwave Transit Duo line of products. This antenna will provide 4x MIMO 4G cellular antennas and 2x 2.4G/5G wifi and GPS to the roof of your RV. The antenna includes an 82.5'' or 6.8ft cable with the appropriate fittings to fit Cradlepoint, Peplink/Pepwave, and other devices that have dual cellular modems. Shorter cables mean less cable loss and better cable reception. Cable extensions are available below under accessories.
The MIMO-3-V2-17 consists of a 7-in-1 antenna system within a single housing, providing 4x Cellular, 2x Wi-Fi and a GPS/GLONASS. This antenna is specifically designed for the transportation and marine industry and does not require a grounding plate to function (grounding plate integrated into housing). The 4x Cellular MIMO antennas cover the contemporary 690MHz to 2700MHz bands, as well as the new emerging LTE and 5G spectrum for 450MHz and 3.5GHz CBRS bands, which are becoming popular for LTE. This antenna, due to its wideband capabilities, can be used across different operators and technologies and is ready for future cellular technologies such as 5G up to 3.8GHz.
The antenna provides two separate dual-band Wi-Fi antennas, providing concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz on each antenna with 2vÉ?ívÜ‚€ôvɬ¢€v¢€¬ù2 MIMO capability. The fifth antenna is a high-performance active GPS/GLONASS system operating down to -40 degrees. The radiation patterns of all elements provide an excellent balance between omnidirectIonality, pattern diversity, and radiation abilities. T
NOTE: THESE ANTENNAS ARE SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION ON FIBERGLASS ROOFS AND DO NOT REQUIRE A GROUNDING PLATE. A 16''x16'' GROUNDING PLATE CAN BE USED AND CAN IMPROVE CELLULAR PERFORMANCE BY 1-3db IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS BUT IS NOT REQUIRED.
**NOTE: If you are adding a cellular booster such as a Weboost, adding a roof antenna to your Pepwave will mean that your Pepwave will not take advantage of your booster. Either add a MIMO cellular antenna or a booster to your setup, both are not generally recommended unless you plan to manually switch between. Both roof antenna and cell booster options have pros/cons so we recommend you send us a chat request if you are unsure of which is best for you**
