The Drive Reach is weBoostís most powerful, in-vehicle cell phone signal booster yet. With its increased uplink output, users get signal up to 2X farther from towers with over twice the signal strengthósignifying an increase of almost 5dB in uplink output power.
The sleek, metallic red exterior of the Drive Reach isnít just for show. The unique fin design increases surface areaó displacing excess heat for peak performance. The custom bracket allows for under seat or in-trunk mount options. Reliable SMB connections on the booster make secure antenna installation a snap. CLA power cord features a USB-A port for rapid phone charging. With its enhanced cellular coverage, enjoy fewer dropped calls, better voice quality, faster data speeds, and extended battery life.
Drive Reach simultaneously boosts cell signal for multiple users. Easy to follow instructions ensure hassle-free setup. Set the Drive Reach into its bracket and mount, plug it into the carís power supply, place the magnetic roof antenna, and get on the road to better signal.
Drive Reach has a 2-year manufacturerís warranty.
Do You Need a Cellular Booster?
Cellular Boosters are a powerful addition to any mobile connectivity setup but they have their pro's and con's and are not for everyone. In general cellular boosters perform best in very low cellular signal areas where you otherwise would not be able to connect. If you are a boondocker, enjoy remote camping or would prefer to "always be connected" over "fastest download speeds" then a booster is probably for you. Boosters support very fast download speeds, usually around 20-30mbps (plenty for streaming, working and doing just about anything on the road) however cellular boosters do not support the latest cellular technologies such as MIMO that allow you to connect to multiple cellular bands at the same time for faster download speeds.
If the fastest download speeds are a priority for you then a Cellular Roof Antenna like our
Poynting MIMO 3 may be a better option for you. Many of our "road warrior" customers who need to be connected all the time and want the fastest download speeds actually have both a roof antenna and a booster. Just keep in mind you cannot use them both at the same time so you will need to unplug your roof antenna to use your booster with your mobile router. Checkout the
video from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center that goes into more detail on
MIMO Antennas v.s Cellular Boosters.
Antenna Options
The weBoost Drive Reach comes with a magnetic mount exterior antenna suitable for metal roof installations. You will need a grounding plane to use this antenna on a fiberglass or composite RV roof. A grounding plane is a piece of metal mounted below the antenna and something as simple as a baking sheet will work however you may want to consider the
weBoost Drive 4X RV booster kit which includes RV specific antennas or the OTR Trucker Antenna paired with this booster for optimal results.
How It Works
Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.

1
Receives
Signal
The outside antenna reaches out to the cell tower to access voice and data signals.

2
Transmits
Signal
The booster receives the outside signal from the outside antenna.

3
Boosts
Signal
The booster amplifies the outside signal 32x, and sends it to the inside antenna.
